Last Term in Junior Infants!

It’s so hard to believe that we are almost finished in junior infants- what a quick year!!! It probably felt so fast because we were so busy all of the time…here’s just some of what we have been up to!

In June we had our school tour in Imaginosity- it was so much fun!!!

We had a fantastic time on Sports Day doing yoga, playing games, having an egg and spoon race, doing gymnastics and using the parachute. In Aistear we were on the farm and learned so much about animals, growing food and planting. The sun finally came out so we decided to have a picnic with Mia’s class too! On June 21st, His Excellency Mr Habib EL Malki, President of the House of Representatives of the Kingdom of Morocco visited our school. We were so excited to welcome him and all of the other delegates with our beautiful Moroccan/ Irish flags!

In May we were at the Airport for Aistear, made some beautiful ‘Rainbow Fish’ after reading a wonderful story and we practised lots and lots of writing!

In April we had an amazing Easter egg hunt! We had to find 3 eggs to earn a real chocolate egg- yum! We also enjoyed learning all about vets for Aistear and even had a visit from a real vet to our class!
