The Gaiety School of Acting visited us as part of Science Week. They have partnered with the Science Foundation Ireland and the Chester Beatty Library to bring us a Minecraft inspired workshop in which the children from 5th and 6th class worked together to create a shelter in a hypothetical alternate world. For example, one of the planets was made of concrete with no vegetation, while another world had no liquid water, so all water vapour in the atmosphere had to be captured by creating a suitable gathering device. Below are some of the adaptations created by 5th Class to their hostile and challenging habitats!
