4th Class have had a fantastic first term back in school. It has been jammed-packed with new learning, energetic PE lessons, inspirational art, super singing and lots of fun.
In English, we have looked at many genres, including instructions, narrative and recounts. We have written many fantastic, creative stories and continued to develop our comprehension skills in reading. 4th class are sinking their teeth into our class novel, Holes by Louis Sachar. We have learnt how to write effective character and setting descriptions and are thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to read aloud in class.
We are amazing ‘mathe-magicians’ after a super term developing our understanding of multiplication, division, interpreting graphs and identifying angles. 4th class have thoroughly enjoyed singing songs to help memorize our times tables. Follow the links below to sing these at home:

In SESE lessons, we have learnt about Sound, Climate Change, the 7 Life Processes, rivers and much more! The children have shown great awareness and understanding whilst studying Judaism and Paganism during our Croí na Scoile lessons.
